Plastic Injection Moulding
The Barkley Plastics manufacturing process includes plastic injection mouldings and product assemblies, for clients who expect only the highest standards of quality.
With more than 40 moulding presses from a microsystem 5 tonne to a large 650 tonne with new presses purchased recently, Barkley Plastics can operate 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.
We also offer specialist services such as two-shot moulding, gas injection, ultrasonic welding and our own patented “In Mould Welding” , using the very latest 6-axis robotic technologies.
Delivering more than 20 million moulded components each year, Barkley Plastics utilises over 300 different base materials to meet the unique requirements of each customer.
The materials are dispensed to the machines using a fully automated system where they are prepared and dried to eliminate any contamination.
During production the components are monitored for quality, dimensional and customer specific requirements.

We also offer a comprehensive tooling transfer service. Transfers commonly result from poor quality, performance or delivery issues from an existing supplier. We’re well equipped and experienced to deal with tooling transfers to ensure a reliable fast changeover and ultimately increased end product dependability.
