Gas injection moulding is an advanced technology in plastic injection moulding that offers opportunities to reduce moulding costs, improve quality, eliminate sinking and allows designers to be even more imaginative in the creation of injection moulded components.

Barkley Plastics’ expertise in gas injection moulding was developed through manufacturing gas injection mould tools and going on to produce the mouldings in high numbers to help support an automotive OEM.

Our efforts proved to be very worthwhile and allowed us to develop and produce items that are safety critical, high strength and cosmetically important. This commitment to develop our knowledge to support our customers is typical of our approach to innovation.
