Barkley Plastics, a plastic injection and toolmaking specialist, is celebrating the landmark anniversary in style after bringing a number of new automotive contracts home and launching its own line of PVC floor tiles called ‘Plasfloor’.
More than £600,000 has been added to turnover in the last twelve months, with 8 new jobs created taking the total workforce to 112, three of whom are currently completing their apprenticeships.

We require a bench-hand or toolmaker for the maintenance and repair of plastic injection mould tools.
Must be apprentice trained and be able to troubleshoot mould issues.
Must understand 2D drawings, hot runner systems and complex mould tools.

Barkley Plastics, who are part of the network of complimentary companies MAN (Midland Assembly Network) enjoyed a successful exhibition at SubCon 2014 at the NEC. With help of the ‘Alpine Racer’ ski machine, used to promote the groups new collaborative effort – Loqski, the 3 days attended gained the network a number of good quality leads that will ensure continued success of the network.
